Distilled from the Pimpinella Anisum plant through steam. Part used, seed.

What is there not to love about Avocado Butter! Being full of healthy fats and Omega 3’s, makes it an excellent additive in skincare to diminish age spots and skin from aging. Rich in vitamins A, B, and G, avocado butter is vital for dry and damaged skin. Solely made of oils for cracked skin and works wonders on extremely dry areas. We incorporate avocado butter in our Succulent Salve, The Heeler, and Eucalyptus Tea Bar soap.

Beeswax is one of our main staple ingredients. Its ability to transmit major skin benefits when used topically is what makes it so important in natural skin and spa care. Beeswax forms a natural barrier from irritants while allowing the skin to breathe. Creating a protective layer on the skin helps retain water, keeping the skin rehydrated. This assists in the healthy development of cells. Its strong antibacterial properties make it bacteria-free, can heal wounds and fight infections. Our dog shampoo is made with a castile soap base. A dog’s pH is between 6 and 8.5, falling in the normal range, and is more sensitive than us humans. Our Castille base is around 8.9 pH, making it more alkaline and carrying miraculous benefits of magnesium. Rich in olive oil, vegetable fats, and coconut oil for a gentle cleanse without toxins. Free from synthetic preservatives and naturally hydrating. Our base helps soothe tender coats, control itching, and kill bacteria.

Clary Sage Oil balances the production of your natural oils and sebum. Capable of balancing out both dry and oily skin. Regulates the endocrine system through balancing the hormones. High in fatty acids deeply hydrates and forms a protective barrier to hold in moisture, which makes it easily absorbed into the skin. The skin relies on moisture to retain elasticity.
And cocoa butter’s hydration properties help to nourish and improve elasticity. Cocoa butter doesn’t just moisturize; it protects from dryness and speeds up the healing of dry, cracked skin. The polyphenols found in cacao may help to reduce the appearance of stretch marks, fine lines, scar tissue, and wrinkles. An excellent emollient that moisturizes deep down to keep skin soft and malleable. It’s able to penetrate as far down to the middle layer of skin called the dermis. Unrefined Coconut oil is one of our staple ingredients here at Celestial Sage. Loaded with healthy fats, lauric acid (Vitamin E), and medium-chain fatty acids that have a hydrophobic and hydrophilic side make it a perfect ingredient in our products. It’s incredibly soothing to the skin and provides a nice natural lather. Works as an emollient that improves elasticity and collagen production. A natural moisturizer, conditioner, and healer with a neutral pH give it the ability to restore the skin’s natural pH balance. Coconut oil’s prime ingredient is to hydrate and smooth skin. Provides a great barrier control and seal in moisture while keeping irritants out. A great additive to our dog shampoo that will leave your dog’s coat healthy, heal wounds, and alleviate hot spots. Skin easily absorbs unrefined coconut oil and helps bolster your skin’s protective layer.

Replenishes skin’s natural barrier. Has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory attributes, soothing dry and itchy skin. Oatmeal interacts with water making for a great buffer for sensitive skin. Gives quick relief from allergies, soothing irritants through fiber and cellulose. Acts as a mild exfoliant. A magnificent addition to our A magnificent addition to our Oatmeal, Milk & Honey soap.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil has superb medicinal properties that fight inflammation and ease cold symptoms. Cineole is the major component known for its inflammatory powers and is used for respiratory. It is one of the top essential oil picks for wounds, cuts, bug bites, stings, and sores. The ability to reduce pain and speed up the healing process with cold sores and herpes is due to its anti-inflammatory assets. Diminishes skin ailments and fungi. It is a powerhouse of antioxidants. Organic Evening Primrose is a fixed oil, making it non-volatile.

Evening Primrose Oil comes from the seeds of yellow flowers that open at sunset, close during the day. The main component is Gamma-Linoleic Fatty Acid (GLA). Evening Primrose is well-known to heal hormonal acne, eczema, and hot flashes due to its GLA fatty acid components. GLA supports overall hormonal function and is most used by women during menopause. Helps with age-related structural and functional changes in skin tissues, such as redness, firmness, roughness, and fatigue resistance. It is traditionally known as the “King’s Cure-All” as it has many great qualities. Very effective treatment for chronic inflammation due to its long-chain fatty alcohols, campestral, and beta-sitosterol. Has the ability to fight oxidative stress in tissues and is naturally soothing and softening to one’s skin. Evening Primrose Oil transforms and targets loose, saggy skin and helps restore elasticity. Makes for a marvelous oil on aging skin and can be found in our Juju Jasmine soap.

Flaxseed Oil is a fixed oil, making it non-volatile.

Flaxseed Oil is a blue flowering plant, cold-pressed to extract the oil, also known as linseed oil.
Alpha-Linolenic Acid (ALA) is the rich source derived from flaxseed oil that’s often used. Flaxseed oil is one of the most multitasking oils. It acts as a protective barrier that’s rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, locks in water molecules close to your skin, keeping it hydrated. This helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and aging skin. The skin is largely made up of collagen, and flaxseed oil is super rich in collagen. Super rich in collagen helps the skin to be firmer and repair itself. It has the ability to refreshen and rebalance your skin cells. It acts as an inhibitor to inflammation, alleviates eczema and psoriasis. Very efficient in soothing dry, irritated skin, and is why we chose it for our Eczema Bar.

Frankincense Essential Oil is a powerful astringent, and strong anti-inflammatory. Known as the king of essential oils due to its versatile uses. One of the gifts bestowed on the night of the birth of Jesus Christ from one of the Magi’s. Used in many prayer rituals and ceremonies for the power of anointment. Terpenes and Boswellia acid are strong anti-inflammatories, antimicrobial, and antibacterial benefits. Boswellia acid can kill acne-causing bacteria, while terpenes are strong astringents that help heal skin imperfections and is a gentle cleanser. Frankincense Oil rejuvenates damaged skin and protects skin from damage caused by drying and the effects of free radicals. Also known as the “Liquid Gold,” which Keeps skin cells plump and strong, maintaining elasticity. Has the ability to tone and strengthen the skin. We incorporate Frankincense Oil in our 3 Wise Men soap, Stress Relief soap, and our Meditation Bath Soaks. It is an Amazing oil for meditation and combats depression.

MATRICARIA RECUTITA

German Chamomile comes from the annual chamomile flower.

Main compound is 50% Bisbalol, with 5% Chamazulene.

Aroma: A rich, warm, distinctive fruity smell, with undertones reminiscent of over-ripe apples.

German Chamomile is an essential oil, making it volatile.

When properly diluted, this oil is safe to use.

German Chamomile Essential Oil soothes irritation and inflammation due to its a-bisbalol. Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial are salient features in blue Chamomile. Improves skin texture and elasticity. Restores and soothes irritated skin, burns, rashes, and eczema while helping to repair tissue. It contains Chamazulene, which gives it a beautiful blue color that protects cells from stress. Promotes healing and regeneration of damaged skin tissue and has the ability to calm the mind and body for menstrual, including PMS. German Chamomile Essential Oil is formulated into our Eczema Bar and Relaxing Bath Soaks.

Our Goat’s milk soap is fat-rich, which helps to replace missing fats and replenish skin’s moisture. High amounts of fat make up a large portion of the skin membrane and have the same pH as humans. Therefore you won’t disturb the natural skin microbiome. High levels of lactic acid (AHA’s) found in Goat’s milk help the skin shed off dead cells, not strip your skin’s natural lipids, and is an intense hydrator. Fatty acids in Goat’s milk help repair the skin barrier, while probiotics encourage normal growth of skin. Many potential benefits are found in Goat’s milk soap, preventing skin disorders (such as eczema and acne) and being great for extra sensitive skin. Goat’s milk soap base is considered to be a high-end ingredient. We keep our Goat’s Milk Soap plastic free which keeps bacteria from growing and is good for the planet.

SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS

Jojoba Oil is from a perennial plant/shrub through a cold-pressed extraction process of the seeds.

Jojoba Oil is a fixed oil, making it non-volatile.

Golden Jojoba Oil is a high emollient that helps penetrate easily and resembles the natural sebum within our skin, producing a non-greasy feel. Jojoba oil is non-occlusive (not clogging pores), lighter, humectant oil that retains moisture in the skin. Loaded with antioxidants to include Vitamin A & E and Omega-6, they are essential to the skin’s barrier. It is an antibacterial and gentle cleanser. Although research is ongoing for acne-prone skin, jojoba oil shows promising signs to be a very effective oil. The ability to mimic the sebum of the skin and contain antimicrobial properties to ward off certain types of bacteria makes it great for problematic acne skin. It has natural cleansing properties and is formulated into our Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey soap. Through research, we have found it to compliment colloidal oats and Bergamot Essential Oil nicely.

Green Tea Oil is expressed from leaves and buds of Camellia Sinensis
The main compounds are the antioxidant EGCG (an enhancer) and Polyphenols (catechins).
Camellia Sinensis is a fixed oil, making it non-volatile.
Due to its powerful antioxidant EGCG and Catechins, green tea detoxifies and kills bacterial inflammation. It has the ability to reduce free radicals that accelerate skin aging. Green Tea is an anti-inflammatory that helps reduce skin irritants, redness, and swelling. Major benefits make Green Tea a protector and a corrector that can minimize signs of aging and repair and rejuvenate collagen.

CANNABIS SATIVA

Derived from the hemp plant Cannabis Sativa through cold-pressed extraction.
High in Omega Acids 3, 6, and 9 and Vitamins B1, B2, and E.
Hemp Butter Oil is a fixed oil, making it non-volatile.
An excellent treatment for rashes, acne, and inflammation due to its moisturizing and hydrating properties. It’s a great moisturizer that won’t clog pores. Balance the skin, and keep it hydrated. Fatty acids Omega-3 and Omega-6 aids in preventing cell damage by strengthening the myelin sheath. Combats psoriasis by slowing down skin cells through fatty acids. Hemp oil is high in Vitamins that help nourish and keep your skin tight and stimulate the natural production of collagen. Known to reduce anxiety and relieve stress. Hemp Seed Butter Oil is one of our ingredients in our Eczema Bar to reduce the inflammatory response with Omega-3. A small white star-shaped flower. It takes approximately 3.5 million jasmine flowers to produce 1 pound of jasmine oil. Jasmine Absolute is one of the most effective oil therapies to naturally treat depression. With its powerfully uplifting and sustaining scent, it is mood-altering. Jasmine absolute has a very floral aromatic scent. Known as an aphrodisiac, it increases sensuality, enhances relaxation, and boosts the libido. Blooming only at night, some refer to it as the “Queen of Night.” Jasmine Absolute is known to calm nerves by targeting the nervous system and makes for a great addition to our Relaxing Bath Salts.
